TivloLab Terms & Policies
Version 1.0 · Effective 4 October 2026
This one document contains every policy you accept when you register with TivloLab or apply to be a mentor. The Drone section applies only to drone courses, the Parent/Guardian section only to students under 18, and the Mentor section only to mentor applicants.
1. Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use tivlolab.com or enroll in a course offered by TivloLab ("we", "us"). By registering or paying for a course, you agree to them.
1. Our courses
TivloLab offers Advanced Computing (Part A: Computer Fundamentals and Part B: MS Office), Artificial Intelligence, and Drone Technology. Courses are taught in live classes by trainers over video streaming with screen sharing, at the times shared with each batch, with practical classes at TivloLab training centers. Course content may be updated from time to time to keep it current.
2. Who can enroll
Our courses are open to everyone. Learners under 18 must register with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
3. Registration and fees
- Fees are shown on the website and on the registration page in Indian Rupees and must be paid in full before the course starts.
- Our team will tell you how to pay after you register. Where online payment is offered, it is processed securely by Razorpay, and TivloLab never sees or stores your card or bank details.
- You receive a registration number (for example, TL-25) when you register. Your seat is confirmed once the fee is received.
- Course access is personal and may not be shared or transferred without our written approval.
4. Course order
The Artificial Intelligence and Drone Technology courses require Computer Fundamentals (Part A of Advanced Computing) first, either completed earlier with TivloLab or included in the same package.
5. Practical classes
- Every package includes unlimited practical classes at TivloLab training centers, held on the dates and times we schedule for each topic.
- Seats in each session are subject to availability. Practical classes are optional; students learning from home with their own computer can still complete the course.
- Students must follow center rules, care for equipment, and follow the trainer's instructions. We may refuse entry to anyone who behaves unsafely or disrespectfully.
6. Drone safety
Drone flying in practical classes takes place only under trainer supervision and in line with applicable Indian drone rules. Students must not fly drones outside supervised sessions as part of the course. Owning or flying a drone independently is the student's own responsibility.
7. Certificates
A certificate is issued when a student completes the required modules and project for a program. Certificates confirm completion of a TivloLab course and are not a government license or qualification.
8. Copyright and course materials
The TivloLab name and logo, this website, and all course content, including live classes, recordings, videos, slides, notes, quizzes, projects, brochures and syllabi, are owned by TivloLab and protected by copyright. They are for the enrolled student's personal learning only.
- Do not record, screenshot for sharing, download, copy, share, sell, upload or publish any class or material without written permission from TivloLab.
- Login codes and class links are personal. Do not share them with anyone.
- Breaking these rules may lead to removal from the course without refund, and TivloLab may take legal action.
9. Conduct
We expect respectful behavior online and at our centers. We may suspend access, without refund, for harassment, cheating, sharing course materials, or misuse of our systems.
10. Limitation of liability
We work hard to keep courses accurate and the website available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or specific results such as jobs or exam marks. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the course concerned.
11. Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the latest version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts with jurisdiction over TivloLab's registered place of business have jurisdiction.

2. Refund Policy
We want every student to be happy with their course. This policy explains when fees paid to TivloLab can be refunded.
1. Cancellation within 7 days
You can cancel and receive a full refund if you ask within 7 days of payment, as long as you have not completed more than one module or attended a practical class.
2. After 7 days
After 7 days, or once more than one module has been completed or a practical class attended, fees are not refundable. You may instead ask to move your fee to another TivloLab course of equal or higher price, paying any difference, once and within 30 days of payment.
3. If TivloLab cancels
If we cancel a course or cannot provide it, you will receive a full refund of the fee for that course.
4. Failed or duplicate payments
If money is deducted but registration fails, or you are charged twice, the extra amount is refunded in full. Razorpay often reverses failed payments automatically.
5. Missed practical classes
Practical classes are unlimited and repeat for each topic, so a missed session can be attended on another scheduled date. Missed sessions are not refunded.
6. How to request a refund
Email Inquiry@tivlolab.com from your registered email with your registration number (for example, TL-25) and the reason for cancelling. We reply within 3 working days.
7. Refund timing
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take a further 5–10 working days to show the amount.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. If you withdraw consent needed to run your classes, you may not be able to continue the course, and the Refund Policy applies.
We keep a record of each consent you give (which boxes were ticked, the policy version, the date and time, and the internet address used) for 3 years after your course ends, so we can show that consent was given properly.

4. Student Safety & Code of Conduct
TivloLab wants every student to learn in a safe and respectful space, online and at our training centers. This policy applies to students, trainers and staff.
TivloLab's commitments
- Every trainer's identity and qualifications are checked, and police verification is done before they teach.
- Trainers contact students only through official TivloLab channels: class links, the student portal, the business email, or official class groups.
- For students under 18, trainers never arrange private one-to-one meetings, calls or chats outside class.
- Training centers have adult supervision during every practical session.
- Any complaint of harassment, bullying or abuse is taken seriously, kept confidential and acted on quickly. Where the law requires it, including under the POCSO Act, TivloLab will report the matter to the authorities.
Students agree to
- Treat trainers and other students with respect. No bullying, abusive language, threats or discrimination of any kind.
- Join live classes with their real name, and keep their camera and microphone use appropriate.
- Not record, screenshot or share classes, class material or other students' images without permission.
- Not share class links, login details or OTPs with anyone.
- Use center computers, drones and equipment only as instructed, and report any damage.
- Not cheat in assessments or submit someone else's work as their own.
- Not bring alcohol, tobacco, drugs or any dangerous item to a center.
Trainers and staff agree to
- Keep all communication with students professional and through official channels.
- Never ask students for personal favors or money, or share personal social media contacts.
- Report any safety concern about a student to TivloLab management on the same day.
Reporting a concern
Write to Inquiry@tivlolab.com with the subject "Safety Concern", or tell a trainer or center in-charge in person. Every report is acknowledged within 24 hours.
Consequences
Breaking this code can lead to a warning, suspension or removal from the course. Serious cases may be reported to the police. A student removed for misconduct is not entitled to a refund, except as stated in the Refund Policy.
Contact
For any question or complaint, write to the Grievance Officer, TivloLab, at Inquiry@tivlolab.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
5. Live Class Recording Notice
Why we record
TivloLab may record live classes so that enrolled students can watch a class again, catch up on a missed class, and so that we can check teaching quality and handle complaints.
What is recorded
The trainer's screen, voice and video, the class chat, and the voice or video of any student who turns on their microphone or camera. Students who prefer not to appear can keep their camera off and use the chat.
Who can see recordings
Only students enrolled in that batch, their trainer, and TivloLab management, through the student portal after login. Recordings are never made public, and never used in advertising without separate written permission. For a student under 18, that permission must come from their parent or guardian.
How long we keep them
Recordings are deleted 90 days after the course ends. A recording linked to an open complaint is kept until the complaint is closed.
Notice in class
The trainer announces when recording starts, and a recording sign is shown on screen.
Do not share recordings
Students must not download, re-record, screenshot or share any recording. Doing so breaks the Student Safety & Code of Conduct.
Your rights
To ask about a recording, or to have your or your child's image removed from a recording, write to Inquiry@tivlolab.com.
Contact
For any question or complaint, write to the Grievance Officer, TivloLab, at Inquiry@tivlolab.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
6. Drone Practical Safety Rules & Risk Acknowledgement
About TivloLab drone practicals
Practicals in the Drone Technology course use nano drones weighing under 250 grams, flown under trainer supervision at TivloLab centers or approved open areas. Outdoor flights take place only in green zones on the government's Digital Sky airspace map, below 50 feet, and away from airports, crowds and restricted areas.
The course certificate is a TivloLab certificate of course completion. It is not a Remote Pilot Certificate issued by the DGCA or a DGCA-authorized training organization.
Safety rules every student must follow
- Fly only when the trainer says so, and only in the marked flying area.
- Do not fly over people, roads, vehicles or animals, or near trees and power lines.
- Stay behind the safety line while another student is flying.
- Tie back long hair, and keep fingers away from moving propellers.
- Do not fly in rain, strong wind or poor light.
- Do not take photos or videos of people or private property with a drone without permission.
- Do not take a TivloLab drone outside the session, or fly any personal drone during practicals.
- Report any crash, injury or damage to the trainer immediately.
Risk acknowledgement
I understand that flying drones carries a small risk of minor injury, such as cuts from propellers, and of damage to equipment, even with safety measures in place. I agree to follow these rules and the trainer's instructions. I understand that the trainer may stop me from flying if I break them.
TivloLab will maintain its drones in safe condition, keep first-aid available at every practical, and supervise every flight.
This acknowledgement does not take away any right that a student or parent has under Indian law, including in cases of negligence by TivloLab.
Damage
Accidental damage during a supervised practical is not charged to the student. Damage caused by deliberately breaking these rules may be charged at repair cost.
Contact
For any question or complaint, write to the Grievance Officer, TivloLab, at Inquiry@tivlolab.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
7. Parent/Guardian Consent (students under 18)
This consent applies when a student registering with TivloLab is under 18 years of age. By ticking the consent boxes and confirming with the code sent to you, you, the parent or legal guardian, agree to the following.
1. Your authority
You confirm that you are the student's parent or legal guardian and have the right to give consent for them.
2. Enrollment
You enroll your child in the selected TivloLab course and accept the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy on their behalf. You are responsible for paying the fees.
3. Use of your child's personal data
You consent to TivloLab collecting and using your child's name, date of birth, contact details, class attendance, progress and assessment results. This is used only to:
- register your child and manage their account;
- run live online classes and in-person practical sessions;
- track progress and issue certificates;
- contact you and your child about classes, schedules and fees.
4. What TivloLab will not do
- Show your child targeted advertisements.
- Track or profile your child's behavior for marketing.
- Sell or share your child's data with anyone for their own purposes.
- Share it with anyone except service providers who help run classes (such as video-class and hosting services), and only under confidentiality.
5. Live classes and recordings
Your child may appear in live classes and their recordings, as explained in the Live Class Recording Notice.
6. In-person practicals
You allow your child to attend practical sessions at TivloLab training centers under trainer supervision. You will arrange your child's travel to and from the center, and tell TivloLab of any medical condition the trainer should know about.
7. Your rights
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your child's data, or withdraw this consent. Write to Inquiry@tivlolab.com. If you withdraw consent, your child may no longer be able to continue the course. The Refund Policy will apply.

8. Mentor Applicant Privacy Notice & Background Check Consent
Privacy notice
What we collect. Your name, contact details, qualifications, work experience, CV and anything else you choose to send with your application.
Why. Only to assess your application, contact you about it, and, if you are selected, prepare your Trainer Agreement.
Who sees it. Only TivloLab management and the people involved in hiring. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it. If you are not selected, we delete your application and CV within 6 months. If you ticked the optional box, we keep it for up to 12 months for future openings. If you are selected, your details move to your trainer records.
Your rights. You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your application, by writing to Inquiry@tivlolab.com.
Background check consent

- verify your identity document;
- verify your educational qualifications and certificates;
- contact your previous employers or references;
- ask you to obtain a police verification certificate.
TivloLab will tell you before starting any check, and will use the results only for this hiring decision. If you do not agree to a check, TivloLab may not be able to continue your application.
